Bo Dog is considered the granddaddy of all Online Sportsbooks by many people. We had to check this book out and see what the buzz was about. Here is what we thought of BoDog. If you take the time to read all our reviews, you will soon realize that we have a sweet spot for clean, easy to use interfaces. Its simply a stellar interface, that enables you to find you game and place you bet in a matter of seconds.
Enter the sportsbook and you are presented with a list of of current sports and their upcoming games. Simply click the sport you are interested in and, BAMM, the screen fills up with a world of options. Since it is NFL playoff time, we picked the "Football" category to try a test bet. If a sport is not in season, it is grayed out. For example, under "Football", "NCAA" was grayed out because the bowls have already wrapped up. What is really nice at BoDog is that listed right next to the game are hyperlinks to see current injuries, game preview, and matchup information. All useful data to have from any online sportsbooks before placing your wager. We also went to the "Futures" area and placed a bet for the over/under on the Super Bowl.
Their lines are often featured in the USA Today, so you might say BoDog is considered somewhat an authority on when it comes to sportsbooks. Another nice feature at BoDog is their "Betting School". This is a great source of information on the various types of bets you can make on different sports. They also have great articles explaining how the lines are created and the mathmetics that go behind them. They even explain how Vegas is different from Internet Sportsbooks.
And they are much more than a sportsbook. They also offer fantasy sports services as well as casino services and a new music section. If you want a big time Sportsbook that has been around a long time and can do it all, BoDog is for you. At a minimum, it is definitely worth your time to take a few mintues and check them out.
